Two BB-1880 once-through boilers operated in Nikola Tesla Power Plant in Yogoslavia are the largest boilers ever manufactured by RAFAKO. Bełchatów Power Plant which operates 12 BB-1150 boilers is however our most important reference within this field (360 MW units).
Nowadays, the largest boilers constructed are the ones with supercritical steam parameters. RAFAKO has already delivered numerous elements of such boilers for Niederaussem Power Plant (Germany) and Florina Power Plant (Greece). Currently, within a consortium with ALSTOM, RAFAKO S.A is executing a contract for design and delivery of a 1345 t/h boiler with supercritical steam parameters for Pątnów II Power Plant.
